Its time to degustate good beer or delicious margaritas. The Howling Wolf Taqueria Express is fresh Mexican cuisine made daily and fast Dine in, take out or get it. The experience was very enjoyable because the food was really great, and I think it would have been even better had we been able to dine-in, but we understand that this was the situation during these challenging times. You can always degust tasty chicken, fish tacos and chimichangas at this bar. Carne deshebrada, rice, cheese, pinto beans, bacon, howling salsa, guacamole, chile con queso & christmas chile sauce. We got the filet Mignon and the ribeye which were on the pricier side, however these were cooked to perfection (“melt in your mouth” kind of perfection), some of the best steaks we’ve ever had (and we like to try out steakhouses so we know what to hold them up against).

That likely took a little from the experience(it was very hot outside and they had some large water-cooled fans (which didn’t seem the most sanitary), but you could tell that the restaurant and staff were making the best out of this challenging situation, and were professional and as accommodating as they could be.
Some good friends recommended the restaurant (they praised the steaks), so we were glad to hear that they did offer a dine-out patio option during these times (COVID-19).
We stopped on our way to Los Angeles, and we used the nearby Tesla supercharger. Places to eat: The Howling Wolf Taqueria for specialty tacos, Adriatic Restaurant and Bar for brick-oven pizza, and the Gulu Gulu Caf for coffee and snacks.
